Born and raised in the heart of the North West province, Odirile Modimokoane’s cricketing journey has been nothing short of inspiring.
A former SA U19 star, Modimokoane returned to the Auto Investments North West Dragons last season after a successful spell with the Durban-based Hollywoodbets Dolphins.
Now, back with his home team, his passion for cricket continues to soar, but it’s not the only field he excels in. Off the pitch, Modimokoane is equally enthusiastic about technology, using digital tools to refine his skills and stay connected.

OM: Definitely the laughing emoji(🤣)!
If your cricket career was turned into a meme, which one would it be?
Which app do you find yourself scrolling through when you’ve got a few minutes to spare?
OM: I really like Instagram so I’m always on there to kill time.
Do you use any cricket-related apps, and if so, which one is essential for your game analysis or training?
OM: Ludimos app. It helps me during training to analyse and improve my skills.
Is there a Podcast you’re currently obsessed with?
OM: Yes, it’s called Daily Motivations on Apple.
